A Slice of Comfort in Uncertain Times:

Domino's recognizes that life is filled with unexpected challenges, and sometimes, all you need is a slice of comfort to make everything better. Whether you've accidentally burned dinner, found yourself in the dark due to a power outage, or had unannounced guests show up at your doorstep, Domino's is here to lend a helping hand – in the form of a free pizza.

Kate Trumbull, Domino's Senior Vice President and Chief Brand Officer, says, "With so much uncertainty in everyday life, we believe everyone needs a pizza pick-me-up at some point. Perhaps you burned dinner, the power went out, or maybe your in-laws just dropped in without notice – whatever your emergency situation, Domino's believes a free pizza can make anything better."

Expanding the Program

Following the initial launch of the "Emergency Pizza" campaign, Domino's is expanding its generosity by giving away $1 million in free pizzas to anyone with student loan payments. To participate, customers can apply for a free pizza on a dedicated microsite, and Domino's will distribute a limited number of pizzas daily until all available codes have been claimed.

Seamless Ordering and Delicious Rewards

To qualify for a free medium two-topping pizza, customers simply need to place a digital order of a certain price or more. This offer encourages online ordering and showcases Domino's commitment to delivering great pizzas and excellent rewards to its loyal customers.

Revamped Rewards Program

This free pizza promotion comes on the heels of Domino's comprehensive overhaul of its rewards program. Under the updated program, members now earn 10 points for every order of $5 or more, making it easier than ever to unlock tasty rewards.

How It Works

To redeem their "Emergency Pizza," customers are required to sign in or sign up for the Domino's Rewards program within seven days of their initial order. The free pizza reward will be automatically applied to their account and remain valid for 30 days. This incentive to log in may encourage users to return to the program and continue enjoying great deals.

Integrated Marketing Campaign

Domino's has collaborated with its agency of record, Work in Progress, to roll out an integrated marketing campaign across multiple channels. This campaign spans television, print, out-of-home advertising, social media, and digital platforms, ensuring that customers know the Emergency Pizza program well. The campaign features a 30-second video spot called "Jar," illustrating how Domino's can save the day when life's little emergencies strike.

Ordering Made Easy

As technology and digital ordering systems have played a pivotal role in Domino's strategy, the company continues to explore innovative ways to make ordering seamless for its customers. In 2022, over 80% of its U.S. retail sales occurred through digital channels. Other advancements include an Apple CarPlay integration and having pizza delivered to virtually any location using a pin-dropping system.

The Domino's "Emergency Pizza" campaign is active now and will continue until February 24, 2024, allowing customers ample time to earn and redeem their free pizzas.
